Employer offers a menu of one to four health plans to employees:

  • Bronze $5,000 HSA (default plan)
  • Silver $1,300
  • Gold $750
  • Platinum $0

  1. Employer offers a low cost HSA-Qualified plan as the default health plan, and employees will be automatically enrolled in this plan unless they elect an optional plan. This very affordable HSA-Qualified plan is ideal for healthy employees who can simply pay the negotiated fee for the infrequent smaller medical bills, but who may worry about large, unexpected expenses such as the average hospital bill of $30,000 (3-4 days). Note: Employer can benefit substantially by using this plan to gain greater control of ever-rising premiums.

ImportantImportant Note: This HSA-Qualified plan is demonstrably the most cost-effective plan for healthy employees who are concerned about covering large, unexpected and infrequent medical expenses such as the average $30,000 hospital bill.

  1. Employer can also offer 1-3 traditional health plans for employees who want or may prefer a low deductible and low copays to pay for ongoing medical conditions. Plans can include silver, gold and platinum options.
