Access Claims Information and Explanation of Benefits
- Log on to your insurance company website with your username and password
- Click on the “Claims” section
- You will see all your claims that have been processed. You will know what the doctor billed, what the insurance company allowed (the negotiated fee), and what the real costs were.
Our Suggestion: Look at an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and find out what your doctor’s negotiated fee is for a doctor visit. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.
