Open Enrollment

Health Insurance Open Enrollment goes from November 1 to January 31

The annual open enrollment is your opportunity to change plans or enroll for the first time in a health plan

  • If you apply from November 1 to December 31, your new health plan will begin on January 1st.
  • If you apply after in January, your effective date will be February 1st.

If you are NEW to Covered California

Covered California has designed a self-service website that makes it easy for you to apply for health insurance.  We have a special Enrollment Guide for enrolling on CoveredCA that will make it easy and understandable.

After you have enrolled in a health plan on Covered California, please let us know so we can add you to our client list. As a client we become your advocate who can help with claims problems, plan selection and insurance updates.  There is no cost to you for our services. Instead of dealing with an 800 phone customer service person, you have a local agent to help you.

IMPORTANT:  Be sure to keep your username and password so that you can access the system in the future. After you set up an account, you can assign us as your agent.

If you are a CURRENT client on Covered California

  • If you want to change plans, please call or email us and tell us what plan you want. We will make the change and then notify you the change has been made.
  • If you are a current client and want to stick with your current plan, you don’t need to do anything. Relax and enjoy. Your current plan will roll over to 2021.
  • If you are a current client and want to change to a different plan.
    • Please call or email us and we can easily make the plan change for you.
  • If you have no insurance and want to apply for a plan, click on the link below

Tips for using the application website:

You will need to set up a username and password, provide your names, dates of birth, and social security members for family members.  In addition, you will need your checking account info or a credit card to make the first payment.

We always recommend you choose the auto-pay option to pay future premiums using auto deduction from your checking account.
