We have great news! We have been notified by Covered California that they have updated their online system for Open Enrollment, which starts on November 1st. They claim that it will be easier than ever this year to enroll online.
With that said, it can be still be a somewhat cumbersome online system to navigate. A few tips to keep in mind if you are qualified for Covered CA health insurance coverage:
- Be sure to call Blue Shield at 888-256-3650 before December 15th to make your first payment to start the plan January 1st 2018.
- If you receive a letter from Covered California requesting documents to confirm information on your application be sure to send it ASAP to the address mentioned in the letter.
